What is Mindfulness? Why is it important?
This blog post will be broken down into 2 main sections:
1. Proactive skills to regulate emotions and maintain present focused mindfulness
2. Reactive skills that are used to come back to present focus when we find ourselves out of the moment.
Each section will contain various mediums including video, instagram links, or blog post links created by myself and other people in our community. I hope you find some simple mindfulness practices that work for you and your life.

MORNING ROUTINES: morning routines are a fantastic way to set yourself up for a present focused day. These practices are meant to come alongside what you already do in your mornings, to enhance your experiences, and keep you mindful.
HAND AND EYE MOVEMENT: engaging in simple movements, like drawing, coloring, puzzles, stretches, or dance, are also proactive ways to engage you body with your mind to keep mood centered and mind presently engaged.
